1877: The school is destroyed by a cyclone, and a new one is built.
1942: The school is closed.
*Enrollment in 1898: 10 students. In 1938: 10 pupils.
Memories: "[In] later years the mother club raised money and bought us some small chairs. When the school closed in 1942 each family received a chair, and I still have the one my mother got." -Loretta Pedacek Gorgus
